Broadband Development Group (BDG) was formed to address pent up demand for high-performance, affordable broadband Internet access. We enter markets where new technology combined with innovative business models enable a compelling competitive advantage. Our initial focus is on broadband Internet access for residential and business subscribers in Multi-Tenant Units. We have designed a network architecture and business model to deliver broadband in this segment that is typically 40% cheaper with speed up to 600% faster. Furthermore, we offer customers instant activation and no hassles—no waiting, no modem, and no contract.

Management Team
James HendrenJames is a deeply experienced participant in technology businesses and is active at the Board of Directors level for several companies. He has been a founder or co-founder of successful technology ventures, including Arkansas Systems, Inc. He has drafted investment and technology policy legislation that has become the model for how investors and technology companies in Arkansas operate. James often serves Governors and legislators in forming technology public policy. He specializes in corporate governance and capital structure for start-ups and entrepreneurs. He has experience in classified Department of Defense networks and Electronic Funds Transfer networks, as well as a large range of technologies. James holds a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville.
Lou McAlisterLou is a career network and telecommunications executive and entrepreneur. His career includes operational, technical, strategic planning, and business development experience in large companies such as AT&T as well as in his own start-ups. He is the co-founder of Navigator Telecommunications, which was an Arkansas-based super-regional competitive local exchange company (CLEC) that operated in 31 states. He also co-founded 7x7 Networking, a San Francisco-based provider of broadband Internet access in multi-tenant buildings. He holds a B.A. from the University of Arkansas Little Rock and an M.S. in Telecommunications Management from Polytechnic University in New York City.
Tom FlakTom is a 25-year veteran of telecommunications, wireless, and network security industries, where he’s held senior positions in product management and marketing. He has worked in a variety of companies, including AT&T, N.E.T., SOMA Networks, and Redseal Networks. He has brought numerous hardware and software products to market, and also has service provider experience both in the U.S. and internationally. He is the co-author of several articles on network services design and spectrum management, and consults with firms in data networking and telecommunications industries, both in the U.S. and globally. He holds a B.S. EE from Missouri University of Science and Technology and an M.S. in Information Networking from Carnegie Mellon University.
