MacArthur Commons HyperLeap Service FAQs
How do I connect to HyperLeap?MacArthur Commons customers can access HyperLeap service from a wired Gigabit Ethernet jack located in each apartment home, or via WiFi, which is available throughout the property. Peak data rate via Ethernet is 1 Gbps. Peak data rate via WiFi is somewhat less than 1 Gbps for any single device, but depends on many factors including number of antennas in the customer device, interference from other WiFi equipment, obstructions/location, and number of devices accessing the same WiFi access point. Generally, HyperLeap WiFi will operate at less than 1 Gbps, but will nonetheless deliver hundreds of Mbps of overall capacity, so the service experience will normally be excellent, and will normally support video streaming applications as well.
